本種は雌雄異形でメスの触角第６節はオスのものよりやや長くなる。これまで群馬県の一部からのみ発見されている。４～５月にニシキギの新葉に非常に多数の個体が発生するが詳しい生態は不明。

This species weakly indicates sexial dimorphisum in antennae: male antennal segment VI is slightly longer than that of female. It has been collected from a part of Gunma prefecture in central Honshu so far. Their biology in unknown but numerous individuals occur on the young leaves of Euonymus alatus at April to May.
